While many question it really is ‘specially when considering the weather.

Here on the coast most crops are about 2 weeks behind. It feels like its warmer up… we’re waiting for the local strawberries!

I’ve now completed the last of the five weeks of coursework with Christine Pollard at the Horticultural College of the Pacific on Horticultural Therapy. An interesting way to spend my holidays over this last year. Now … the homework needs doing to complete the certificate portion of the process towards becoming a registered horticultural therapist. Then on to completing over 1000 hours of an internship, location to be determined.

As always the sessions were thought provoking and fun. The field trips and opportunity to visit a variety of locations where programs were in place – priceless.
